What chance to object?

Re "Pubs plan `ok' by cops" - Halesowen News, June 9 2005. As a very near neighbour of the Maypole, one of the pubs applying for extended licenses, I was dismayed to hear that no objection would be made by West Midlands Police and ask myself what chance have I and others who live near this pub, which is in a reasonably quiet residential area, have of strongly objecting to these proposals.   more...
