JACKIE Jinks, of Netherton, has been announced as the second winner in the News Group-backed hunt for borough PoP Stars.
Dudley Council launched the campaign as part of its Pride of Place initiative in a bid to find the unsung heroes who are helping improve the borough environment.
Jackie, aged 50, lives in Compton Court and is a founder member of the Arley and Compton Tenants Association.
For the past few years she has worked with the council to secure better facilities for residents and has campaigned for better lighting, security and CCTV cameras.
She said: "I like to keep myself busy and I take great pride in keeping the area clean.
"I don't do it for the praise, I do it because I care about the local environment and because I want my neighbours and friends to live in pleasant surroundings."
Cllr George Davies, lead member for the environment, said: "She is a credit to the borough and I am delighted to announce her as our second PoP star."
